Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long. She quickly made the move in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, as well as independent films and commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. She moved to New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside a number of the famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. Then she joined the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has received numerous nominations in the character's honor including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio.
