Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar is one of the American and British sitarist. She was among the youngest and first woman to receive the British House of Commons Shield she's had Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to play live in concert and serve as a presenter at the ceremony. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was one of the Indian young sitar singer. She is a student as well as sister of Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982. In during her early years, she swam her time between London New Delhi. When she was 13, she gave her first performance in New Delhi. Then she relocated to Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha, who is only an teen, has enjoyed an extremely successful recording and performing career.
